  Director - Digital Team  
  Hawkins International Public Relations (HIPR) is hiring a digital-savvy, strategic thinker who has mastered social media strategy and has extensive experience conducting integrated communications campaigns. We’re looking to fill a Director role to lead our rapidly expanding social media and digital marketing efforts across our client roster and agency footprint.   • 4-7 years background in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or PR
  • Proven track record in securing new business leads, pitching and winning social media and digital marketing business
  • A substantial understanding of analytics and measurement tools, such as Radian 6, Sysomos, Crimson Hexagon, Sprout Social or Iconosquare
  • Experience developing social media strategy that activates consumers and drives web or app traffic
  • Experience developing  highly shareable multi-media (particularly video) social media campaigns that grow audiences and engagement
  • Great understanding of public relations/advertising agency operations and financial model, particularly the ROI of social media retainers
  • Creativity, self-sufficiency, and sense of proactivity
  • Ability to recommend SEO strategy and a solid command of paid social media execution
  • Work closely with senior team on monetization opportunities in emerging technologies
  • Develop and grow partnerships with creative agencies, social media thought leaders and influencer talent to help grow a relevant social footprint
  • Help to identify and cultivate social media ambassadors throughout the agency

  Freelance Graphic Designer  
  Hawkins International Public Relations (HIPR) is hiring a Freelance Graphic Designer to develop print and digital brand communications. Potential to work together on future client and agency projects if we find the right fit! Hawkins International is an award-winning and growing boutique agency, located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, that’s internationally-minded and specializes in public relations and social media for a range of world-class global travel and lifestyle accounts.

We are looking for a freelance designer to work on a range of branded collateral projects. Each piece must convey that we are global, results-oriented, strategic, and integrated with a focus on luxury travel and hospitality. Our primary objective is to persuade the reader that our agency is growing and innovative. Candidate will support marketing, content and social media teams.
Projects include: brand identity package, new business proposals, capabilities deck, client list and brochure in both print and digital formats.

We are looking for candidates available for short term freelance projects with the possibility of a temp-to-per position. Must be able to work from our office one day a week and attend meetings as needed.

  • 3-5 years creative design experience
  • Background in hospitality or travel preferred
  • Ability to communicate design direction and vision
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS

  Assistant Account Executive (AAE)  
  Hawkins International Public Relations, www.hawkpr.com, is hiring a dynamic, smart, savvy public relations professionals who has the passion for the industry & big ideas. Our boutique PR agency, located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, boasts world-class global travel accounts is growing and seeking seasoned talent.

Travel opportunities to fabulous destinations and a warm, supportive group of colleagues are just a few of the reasons to join our team. Applicants should be team players - polished, enthusiastic, service-oriented and eager to learn. PR experience with the travel and/or lifestyle industries is a plus, but not required.

Assistant Account Executives (AAE) are junior account team members with 1 – 2 years’ experience who work closely with managers to provide support to clientele. An AAE must be creative, have strong writing skills, media relationships to garner impressive placements in national and key regional magazines, newspapers, TV and online, and feature story development is a plus. He/she must also have a passion for travel and hospitality and be well versed in the various trends within the field. Knowledge of social media is a requirement. AAEs must be well-organized with exceptional multitasking skills to handle supporting the administrative workload of several client accounts.

  •  Prepare and distribute monthly account reports
