  Account Supervisor  
     
  The primary focus of the Account Supervisor (AS) role is to provide tactical counsel to clients, and manage the appropriate implementation on a variety of projects on a timely, deadline-focused basis. AS can be lead executives on smaller accounts as well as part of a larger, higher-level account. AS also manage and mentor junior staff. Responsible for entire group client performance and the health of the agency/client relationship on ALL accounts. New business is also a focus for this role. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities include:
 
     
  Clients/Accounts:  
     
 
  • Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and provide strategic counsel
  • Implement roles with team members and support SAE/AE as day-to-day client contact
  • Support the AD/VP in the development of client contracts, scopes and budgets
  • Coach junior staff in leading conference calls and client meetings (varies by client)
  • Provide unsolicited ideas and trends to client on a regular basis
  • Strategize, develop, and contribute to the development of action plans that are creative, results-driven and fresh.
  • Spearhead and oversee proactive media relations strategies and identify key opportunities
  • Lead in the presentation of plans to client teams; execute against plans and adapt as needed
  • Delegate responsibilities efficiently, encouraging development and providing education
  • Ensure annual PR objectives are reached/surpassed and within financial resources
  • Provide social media strategy and identifies upsell opportunities; underscores HIPR’s Digital expertise
  • Act as quality control for all account work, providing managers with projects that are “client ready”
 
  Media/Internal Relations:  
     
 
  • Drives staff performance reviews
  • Leverage established media relationships
  • Lead charge on new business proposals and presentations, managing timeline, budgets and execution
  • Monitor competition and identify industry trends. Share with teams and clients, as well as build creative and strategic pitches to support trends
  • Provide ongoing counsel and guidance to junior team members and supports AD/VPs with professional development, industry education
  • Attend industry events and network on behalf of the agency with media and industry contacts to continue to grow HIPR’s database and proactive new business opportunities

  Freelance Graphic Designer  
     
  Hawkins International Public Relations (HIPR) is hiring a Freelance Visual Brand Designer to develop visual style guide and corporate identity designs. Hawkins International is an award-winning and growing boutique agency, located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, that’s internationally-minded and specializes in public relations and social media for a range of world-class global travel and lifestyle accounts.
We are looking for a freelance designer to develop and produce a full scope of creative brand elements from start to finish on a range of branded collateral projects. Each piece must convey that we are global, results-oriented, strategic, and integrated with a focus on luxury travel and hospitality. Our primary objective is to persuade the reader that our agency is growing and innovative.


Requirements/Qualifications:
 
     
 
  • This project short-term project will focus on strategy to creative interpretation and execution; designing visual identities, defining brand architectures and using clear and useful guidelines for implementation
  • Establish look and feel of all concepts
  • Evolve HIPR’s brand and visual identity to reflect our current and future goals of the business
  • Cohesive Print/Digital Campaigns: Business cards, signage, brochures, infographics, graphic elements, layouts, banners, web landing pages, press releases, newsletters, email marketing templates, etc.
  • Website: Use Word Press to update website with new branding, copy and images
  • Create and maintain design documentation such as web style guides
  • Attend creative input sessions, brainstorming sessions, client presentations, regular status updates and any and all meetings needed on a per project basis.
 
  We are looking for candidates available for short term freelance project (1 – 2 months). Must be able to work from our office one day a week and attend meetings as needed.

Qualifications:
 
     
  • 4-7 years creative design experience
  • Background in hospitality or travel preferred
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and marketing
  • Ability to communicate design direction and vision
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign),
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS and Word Press
  • Knowledge of email marketing systems (Pardot) and templates
  Must be comfortable working independently with excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects with deadlines.
