The Omni Homestead Resort on Virginia Bride Online
We’ll say yes to more coverage like this. As a result of our pitching efforts, The Omni Homestead Resort’s new partnership with celebrity stylist Monte Durham of Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta was featured in Virginia Bride Magazine online. The September 26 post, “Monte Durham – Say Yes to the Dress Star – Partners with The Homestead,” covered various details of the partnership and included lengthy quotes from resort DOSM Alex Gregory and stylist Durham. Virginia Bride is the only locally owned regional bridal magazine in state, serving brides-to-be from cities and regions across the Old Dominion and drawing a VPM of 1,000.
XV Beacon in Elite Traveler
This one’s kind of a country mouse-city mouse thing. Thanks to our working with Boston-based freelancer Laurie Kahle, HIPR’s longest-running client, XV Beacon, was one of two boutique properties featured in “Golden Glory” in the October issue of Elite Traveler. The image-heavy, New England-centric fall destination guide focused on weekends in the city and weekdays in the surrounding counties. We provided info on the Gilbert Stuart Suite and XVB’s concierge, and both were highlighted in the piece. Elite Traveler is a favorite of jet-setters, with a circulation of 97,059.
Hotel Vermont in and on Men’s Journal
What, only 76? As a result of our setting up Editor Mark Healy with a visit to Juniper during his summer exploration of Burlington, Hotel Vermont was named as one of “The 76 Best Places to Drink a Beer in America” in Men’s Journal. The article, which ran in the magazine’s November issue as well as online under “Drink Here,” included a nice photo and a blurb highlighting the hotel’s Beer Concierge, as well as some of the “hard-to-find” brews one can expect to sip craft brewery tours. Men’s Journal has a frothy circulation of 763,033 and a VPM of 1,154,435.

And you thought spa-ing on land was special. Contributor Charu Suri gave the luxurious Spa at Seabourn a nice plug in her recent roundup of the best spas on water on Condé Nast Traveler online. Along with highlighting the Spa’s Kinesis Wall, SkinCeuticals line, and partnership with Dr. Weil, launching onboard Seabourn’s newest vessel, Seabourn Encore, in 2017, the October 10 article also mentioned the cruise line’s new dining offering from Chef Thomas Keller. CNT is a great placement with a VPM of 2,736,177.

Here’s looking at you, ship. Thanks to our efforts with writer Jacqueline Gifford, the December launch of Seabourn’s newest vessel, Seabourn Encore, was highlighted in “Three Cruise Lines to Watch” on Travel + Leisure online. Tihany included. Travel + Leisure has lots and lots of online readers, drawing 7,175,300 VPM.
Wilderness Safaris in Bridal Guide
Let’s just call it a Rhinomoon. As a result of our sharing info and images, Wilderness Safaris was featured in “Feel-Good Honeymoons” in the November/December print issue of Bridal Guide. The article by freelance writer Sunshine Flint, who attended HIPR’s Bridal Breakfast right here at HIPR Headquarters back in February, highlights a handful of socially conscious destinations and hotels that are perfect for newlyweds looking to give back to where they’re visiting. The roundup-style article notes WS’s Desert Rhino Camp in Namibia, touching on free-roaming black rhinos and ways that guests following in game drives or on foot can work with Save the Rhino Trust to help trackers record the animals’ locations. Bridal Guide has a VPM of 131,308.
