With Easter coming up this Sunday, celebrating the holiday in style in the current climate might seem like a daunting task. We have certainly been asking ourselves: how can we create lasting memories while we stay indoors for the safety of our loved ones and neighbors? Thankfully, Hawkins International’s hospitality clients came to the party prepared, ready to help make your celebrations as memorable from home as they would have been at their properties. And with a variety of recipes and crafts to try, they’ll be fun and tasty, too!
First up, The Dorchester Collection will be taking their Easter celebrations to social media, with a series of fun, informative, and – let’s be candid – flat out mouth-watering recipes for Easter treats on Instagram.
- Bask in the fragrant smell of cinnamon and cardamom, and enjoy with a thick spread of butter – Pastry Chef Daniel Texter at The Dorchester, London, has shared his hot cross buns recipe for Easter weekend.
- Coworth Park’s Executive Chef, Adam Smith, satisfies everyone’s sweet tooth with a heavenly Easter Chocolate Rice Pudding Souffle Tart recipe. Reading the name alone, we know we’ll be reaching for a second slice – even before we’ve taken our first bite!
- Tom Booton, Head Chef at The Grill at The Dorchester, shares a recipe for a main dish certainly worthy of a holiday weekend – a Shoulder of Lamb Boulangère.
Next, Montage Hotels & Resorts is getting crafty this Easter with a spring project as part of their Paintbox signature children’s program. While there will always be room in our atelier for traditional colored Easter Eggs, there’s something about kids painting with their toes that says “holiday!” Watch the tutorial here, and get a taste of Montage at Home.
Meanwhile, in Connecticut, the SONO Collection is taking the fun up a notch with an Easter at Home Kit, complete with Easter themes Instagram filters, egg-citing activities sheets, and a DIY bunny ears tutorial that’s sure to add a healthy dose of spring spirits to your family pictures.
And last but not least, Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts are doing their part to offer your table delectable, worldly dishes and Portuguese recipes from Chef Micael Valentim. Try their Portugues Roasted Lamb for the main dish, and wrap your meal with their Folar da Páscoa, a symbol of reconciliation and friendship.
We hope you enjoyed this very special Easter Edition of recipes and activities to enjoy at home this weekend. Let us know how they turn out in the comments!
