Ready for your close up? JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa certainly was when Travel + Leisure online included the property in a recently broadcast article, “VIDEO: Five Things to Do in Venice.” The write-up accompanying the video feature, bylined “Travel + Leisure Staff,” highlights must-do and must-see things for travelers in Venice and suggests the JW Marriott as a great place to stay to take in the Venetian Lagoon. Best of all, the resort is the only hotel mentioned in the story. Travel + Leisure online has a big readership with 9,319,912 visitors per month.
Hotel Granduca Houston on Chron.com
Traditional afternoon tea is alive and well is the Lone Star State. Hotel Granduca Houston was featured “Houston’s Best Afternoon Tea,” a roundup of the city’s dandiest afternoon tea options on Chron.com, the website of the Houston Chronicle. The piece, written by Greg Morago and posted March 24, featured four photos of the hotel in a slideshow, and mentioned offerings from the tea experience at Ristorante Cavour. There was also a direct link to the hotel’s website. Chron.com is a great outlet with 11,429,530 visitors per month.
Dream Downtown in The New York Times
There are so many places to spend big bucks in New York City, but none other quite like the GuestHouse at Dream Downtown. Thanks to our relationship with the outlet, the hotel’s 2,500-square-foot deluxe penthouse was featured in “Are Luxury Suites Worth the Splurge? Hotels are Banking On It,” by Stephanie Rosenbloom, who noted details including fireplace, outdoor shower, glass-bottom Jacuzzi, and the services of a “vibes curator” to help create a party playlist or put together hors d’oeuvres. The article spanned two pages in The New York Times Sunday Travel Section on March 27 and was posted online on March 25. The “Grey Lady’s” weekend circulation is 2,579,166, while its online presence attracts 96,473,879 viewers per month.
