Mountain Top Inn & Resort and Hotel Vermont in The Improper Bostonian
There’s nothing like a summer vacation by a lake. But, which lake? Writer Scott Kearnan gave readers some to consider in “Go Jump in a Lake,” his recent roundup in the May 11-14 issue of The Improper Bostonian. The sprawling feature, which also appeared online, designated Mountain Top Inn & Resort and Hotel Vermont as places to stay to enjoy Chittenden Reservoir and Lake Champlain in Vermont, respectively. The entry for Mountain Top highlighted the resort’s “rustic-chic guest suites,” “farmhouse-inspired spa,” “cozy resort tavern,” and “lovely American lodge menu” at Mountain Top Dining Room. Hotel Vermont was hailed for taking “great advantage of its proximity to lake life and downtown [Burlington] address” and offering a “Bedtime Menu” with flannel PJs, a “beer concierge” with tours of local taprooms, plus Juniper Bar and Hen of the Wood. The Improper Bostonian is a great placement for both properties, with a circulation of 86,500 and VPM of 40,000.
Hotel Granduca Houston on Robb Report Online
It’s always 5’o’clock somewhere, especially at Bar Malatesta. As a result of our efforts, the signature watering hole of Hotel Granduca Houston was written up by Jenny Adams in “Eight Must-Try Cocktails Using Yuzu, This Summer’s Coolest Citrus” on Robb Report online. The slideshow highlighted the bar’s Te Di Malatesta – “one of the more yuzu-forward options we’ve seen” – made with house-made green tea-infused vodka, fresh yuzu and limoncello, and mint leaves. Yum. Pretty photo, too. Robb Report is about as upscale as it gets, covering every angle of the luxury market and reaching 632,557 online readers.
