Eden Roc at Cap Cana All Over the Place
Who needs another acting award when there is so much great swag out there? Eden Roc at Cap Cana recently jumped at an opportunity to be part of a gift bag giveaway from the American Cinematheque Awards and got oodles of publicity for its generosity. How do we define “oodles”? Try 34 million media impressions! The resort offered certificates for two-night stays to the Awards’ celebrity presenters, including Matt Damon and Kristin Wiig. Word travels fast in the industry, and Eden Roc at Cap Cana was featured in articles and celebrity spottings in a bunch of top outlets with inclusions highlighting the resort’s location and freestanding suites, as well as Mediterraneo, Solaya Spa, and adjacent Jack Nicklaus golf courses. The outlets included Celebuzz (VPM 7,365,073), OK! Magazine (3,773,713), Radar (1,511,721), Extra (364,568), Entertainment Tonight (6,724,225), InTouch (1,267,803), Life&Style (460,906), Closer Weekly (178,263) and Woman’s World (67,672). Coolest placement? It’s all a matter of personal taste, but we liked four spottings of Damon autographing gift bags with mentions of Eden Roc at Cap Cana in the photo captions.
The Franklin on Architectural Digest Online
Which is better: a hot scoop or a first look? The article also provided the opening rate and a link. Architectural Digest is a great read and a gorgeous look, with a VPM of 537,321.
Seabourn in Town & Country Travel

Seabourn received several top honors in Town & Country Travel’s “Travel Cruise Awards,” which were included in the magazine’s Fall/Winter 2016 issue. “Classic Luxury: Well-Mannered, Cozy, Worldly” notes Seabourn’s honors for Best for Design, Best for Active Travelers, Best for Food and Best for On-Shore Activities.
