The slideshow-style roundup by Melissa Locker, posted November 29, highlighted the resort’s January 2017 opening and range of activities from snorkeling along the Columbus Passage to simply relaxing on the island’s pristine white-sand beaches. Thanks to our work providing details to writer Gay Nagle Myers, the hotly anticipated January 2017 opening of Sailrock Resort was stoked online in Travel Weekly. “Resort to Debut on South Caicos,” posted November 28, highlights amenities of the resort’s Great House, as well as details of Ridgetop Suites and Beachfront Villas. There was also info on opening rates and a great photo from a sea-view guest room. It’s always nice to get coverage in TW, which targets U.S. travel professionals and anyone else interested in the industry, and has a VPM of 258,493.
The Omni Grove Park Inn Online on a Buncha Hearst Publications
Now here’s some fresh-baked coverage! As a result of a press release we wrote and shared with the Viral Content Editor, the annual National Gingerbread Competition of The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C. received widespread and rousing notice on the online outlets of an assortment of Hearst publications. “The 2016 Winners of the Gingerbread House Competition are Absolutely Amazing,” by Diana Bruk, was featured with almost a dozen photographs on various dates in late November on Redbook Magazine (VPM 2,441,474), House Beautiful (1,718,222), Country Living (2,428,500), and Town & Country (461,409).

Not all news out of Ashville is Gingerbread House-related, but it sure seems that way these days. The Omni Grove Park Inn’s annual National Gingerbread House Competition was highlighted in “On The Road,” a one-page feature in the December 2016 issue of Food Network Magazine. The piece shared that the fresh-baked houses will be on display into January and revealed an enlarged image of the winner of last year’s grand prize. Food Network Magazine has a well-fed VPM of 1,770,916.
InterContinental New York Barclay on USA Today Online
If you didn’t know it before, you do now: Gin goes with everything! Thanks to our work with writer Jenn Rice, the signature cocktail of The Gin Parlour at InterContinental New York Barclay was featured in “Stamp of Approval: Chef and Mixologists Brand Creations” on USA Today online. The slideshow-style piece, posted November 29, detailed the restaurant’s Club Clover cocktail made of London Dry gin, egg whites and lemon juice, and garnished with a “fancy, powdered hibiscus” Gin Parlour logo. Neat! USA Today online is nothing if not a big one, with a VPM of 25,446,800.

Talk about an easy clean up! Thanks to a press release we disseminated in advance of everyone’s favorite food-and-football-focused four-day weekend, the festive Thanksgiving Day brunch of Hotel Granduca Houston was detailed on EATER Houston and Houston Press online. Both articles – “Where to Eat in Houston” in the former, and “Where to Dine in Houston on Thanksgiving Day 2016” in the latter – laid out menu items and how to score a reservation. EATER Houston has a VPM of 68,324, and Houston Press counts a VPM of 456,799.
InterContinental New York Barclay in and on Condé Nast Traveler
Well, everybody knows how New Yorkers love to talk… Thanks to our relationship with Rebecca Misner, the InterContinental New York Barclay was highlighted among the best new hotels in Midtown in “The Best New Hotels in NYC” in the December issue of Condé Nast Traveler as well as online. The roundup-style “guide to Manhattan’s most talked-about new hotel openings,” compiled by “CNT Editors,” noted The Barclay’s 20-month, $180 million renovation and “thorough” 88-label gin bar – a.k.a., The Gin Parlour. CNT has a print circulation of 809,987 and a VPM of over 2.7 million.
