Wilderness Collection on Condé Nast Traveler Online
Hail to the Suites! As a result of images and details we shared with freelancer Paul Rubio, two beautiful suites from two clients were featured in the slideshow of “10 Incredible Presidential Suites and Villas Around the World” on Condé Nast Traveler online. Wilderness Collection’s North Island destination was noted for the spaciousness and seclusion of its ten “presidential villas” leading to the 8,000-square foot Villa North Island, described as “in a category of its own.”
The Dolder Grand in Luxury Magazine and on Departures Online
Thank goodness the new restaurant at The Dolder Grand accepts MasterCard and American Express. After putting word out on the impending debut of the hotel’s new restaurant Saltz, an item ran in the Spring 2016 issue of Luxury magazine highlighting design elements by Rolf Sachs, chairs from Eero Saarinen, and the hotel’s web address. Meanwhile, as a result of our contact with freelance writer Krista Simmons, Saltz was spotlighted in “Dining Agenda: New Restaurants and Food News this March” on Departures online. The article, posted March 2, included a rendering of Saltz and noted design elements by Rolf Sachs. Luxury, the exclusive quarterly publication for holders of MasterCard Black Cards, has a circulation of 50,000, while Departures online, geared for American Express Platinum Card holders, attracts 278,736 unique visitors a month.
Solage Calistoga on Food Republic
What pairs best with the perfect destination? The perfect getaway. Writer Katie Chang tagged along on our press trip and penned “Solage Calistoga Is the Perfect Getaway for Lovers in Napa Valley” for Food Republic. The lengthy feature, posted March 7, showcased Solage Calistoga as an under-the-radar destination for “proper rest and relaxation,” with details of Solbar’s relaxed outdoor setting and Chef Brandon Sharp and Sommelier Scott Turnbull’s playful and thoughtful approaches to Napa Valley dining. The photo-heavy piece – four images, including a dreamy close up of colorful Crispy Petrale Sole Tacos – further highlighted the Chef’s Atrium, Spa Solage, and the resort’s bungalow-style accommodations and eco-chic design. Food Republic covers food, drink and more for well-traveled types, reaching over 1.2 million readers a month.
A Passel of Clients on Jetsetter.com
What’s in and out in travel this year? Jetsetter.com knows. Thanks to our “In & Out” press release, distributed back in January, several clients were featured in Jordi Lippe-McGraw’s “scoop” on what’s trending in the industry now. “The 10 Biggest Travel Trends of 2016” included Room Mate Hotels and La Compagnie under “Hybrid Travel Services”; Dream Downtown and Dream Midtown under “Farewell Amenities”; and Gstaad Palace, and Madeline Hotel & Residences under “Spa Treatments Using Precious Gems and Stones.” Jetsetter.com has a circulation of 432,567.
Gstaad Palace on Vogue Online
Combine an iconic hotel and Hollywood icons and what do you get? Great coverage. Gstaad Palace was included in “Travel Like Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn: Inside the Most Iconic Celebrity Hideaways,” a round-up-style piece on Europe’s most glamorous destinations by Brooke Bobb on Vogue online. Posted March 1, the article had two photos from the family-owned palace hotel in the Swiss Alps, not least a historic black & white shot of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor somewhere inside. It further highlighted the Palace’s 100th birthday and other celebrity guests including Roger Moore and Madonna.
