Montage Kapalua Bay in Condé Nast Traveler
Well…love can make you crazy. As a result of our pitching efforts, Betsy Blumenthal, assistant editor of venues, put together a nice piece on Montage Kapalua Bay’s new “Love is in the Air Featuring Harry Winston” package in the online version of Condé Nast Traveler. The four-paragraph write up, “Montage Kapalua Bay and Harry Winston Offer an Insane Engagement Package,” was 75% focused on the resort’s over-the-top offering, nicely detailing inclusions such as onsite accommodation at exclusive Cliff House, a round-trip scenic helicopter ride to Oahu, private consultation at the island outlet of “bling king” Harry Winston, and more. The piece opened with a nice image of Cliff House. With a readership of more than 2.7 million consumers, coverage in CNT is an engagement not to be missed.
Montage Laguna Beach and Room Mate Waldorf Towers on Today Show
It’s not every day that an HIPR client is spotlit on NBC’s Today Show. Indeed, on January 12 it was two in a day. The show invited Chef Craig Strong of Studio at Montage Laguna Beach to create two recipes for a nearly four minute-long Lighten Up segment, which featured the chef preparing Shrimp Orecchiette Alfredo and Bacon Carbonara alongside co-anchors Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. An article highlighting both recipes also ran in “Dairy-Free Pasta Recipes that are Healthy, Creamy and Comforting” in the “Food” section of the show’s website. Meanwhile, as a result of our pitching, Room Mate Waldorf Towers was called out as a fun, budget-friendly address to soak up sunny Miami in “Winter Travel Destinations You Can Escape to on a Budget,” a four-minute give-and-take with Mark Ellwood, contributing editor of Condé Nast Traveler, and Today Show hosts Tamron Hall and Jena Bush Hager. Today Show is a not-to-be-missed morning ritual for millions, of course, and its website has a VPM of 17,068,865
The Dolder Grand in Robb Report – Twice
No, actually, two is the charm. Thanks to our media outreach, The Dolder Grand was featured twice – once as a hot spot, another as a somnifacient – in the January 2017 issue of Robb Report as well as online. First up was inclusion in “The Top 21 Trips for 2017,” a round up of exciting destinations to visit over the year ahead, with Senior Editor Jackie Caradonio plugging the legendary hotel as contributing to “Zurich’s New Cool” side with mention of artist Rolf Sachs’s vibrant red-and-blue design of Saltz restaurant. Then, in “Dream Trips” under “Health and Wellness”, Janice O’Leary relayed 10 tips to help travelers sleep, including The Dolder Grand’s darkening in-room window treatments that can be programmed to let in light gradually depending on time of day. Robb Report has a print circulation of 101,022 and online viewership of 234,725.
