Omni Grove Park Inn on Glamour and The New York Times Online
The judging for the 23rd Annual National Gingerbread House Competition at Omni Grove Park Inn may be over, but the coverage is still cooking. As a result of a release we distributed highlighting the winners, Online Editor-at-Large Danica Lo wrote up the highly anticipated holiday event in “4 Award-Winning Gingerbread Houses That Look Too Good To Eat” on Glamour online. The piece, posted November 18, featured five high-res images, including of the top prize winner from Team Jengerbread – a.k.a., Jennifer Elmore and Mike Willauer of Chapel Hill. Glamour’s website reaches more than 6.6 million readers each month. The competition was also plugged in “Please Don’t Eat The Winners” under “Noteworthy” in the November 18 Wednesday Briefing section of The New York Times online, which linked to a piece in the Asheville Citizen-Times as well as to a full image gallery. NYT online has a VPM of 80,398,188.
Room Mate Grace on Condé Nast Traveler Online
We’ll drink to this coverage. The intimate swim-up bar at Room Mate Grace near Times Square was included in “The Hunt For the Tiniest, Hidden Hotel Bars” on November 12 on Condé Nast Traveler online. Posted November 12, the slideshow-style piece by freelancer Juliana Shallcross highlighted the uniqueness of the bar in the frenetic Times Square area, and noted that the hotel’s swim-up and dry bars can accommodate only a select number of guests at any time. Meantime, Conde Nast Traveler online accommodates a lot of interest, with a VPM of 1,697,617.
