Hawkins International is always looking for opportunities to engage with the travel community through social media and we’ve found Twitter chats to be a fun, interesting way to tap into people who are filled with just as much #wanderlust as we are. In case you want to join in the travel tweeting trend, we’ve compiled a few of our favorite travel-themed Twitter chats so that you can participate as well!
#TL_Chat
Travel + Leisure runs one of the most well-known Twitter chats which features a different theme every week, ranging from ‘World’s Best’ to ‘It’s all about the Journey’. The chats are run through the @TravelLeisure twitter handle and you can find both travel brands and travel lovers participating each week. The chats are run by industry experts and feature questions like: “Define a journey in 3 words” and “What’s the one thing you take with you to remind you of home?”
These chats occur Tuesdays at 2PM EST, and you can sign up for the chat by emailing “Yes” to TLSocial@timeinc.com.
#PassionPassport
This chat is run by Passion Passport which is a website whose mission is to “elevate the conversation from talking about things to talking about experiences.” The chats are run from the handle @passionpassport and features themes such as ‘Travel Planning’ and ‘Travel Tech’.
